Install your shoutbox

Copy your code to the clipboard by pressing Ctrl+C. Open the webpage you want to place Shoutbox on, in your editor. Go into HTML editing mode, if possible. Find the place in your layout where you want your Shoutbox to be, and press Ctrl+V to paste the code there. Save the webpage and upload as necessary. Repeat for all pages you want your Shoutbox visible on.

Blogger installation instructions

Go to your Blogger Layout settings page. Click Add a Gadget and choose the HTML/JavaScript gadget. Paste the embed codes into the gadget Content. Click Save and Shoutbox is installed.

phpBB installation instructions

Go to the Administration Control Panel (ACP). Select the Styles tab, and choose Templates from Style Components menu. Click Edit on your current template. Paste the embed codes where you want your shoutbox to appear. overall_header.html or overall_footer.html would be a good place. Click Submit and Shoutbox is installed.

vBulletin installation instructions

Log in to the Admin Control Panel of your vBulletin site. From the menu on the left, go to Styles & Templates > Style Manager. Select Edit Templates from the dropdown menu. Select any template (we recommend footer) and click Customize. Paste the embed codes where you want your shoutbox to appear. Click Save and Shoutbox is installed.

Wordpress installation instructions

Go to your Admin Dashboard of your Wordpress site. From the menu on the left, go to Appearance > Widgets. Select Text (Arbitary text or HTML) widget and add it to your template. Paste the embed codes in the widget settings and give it the title Shoutbox. Click Save and Shoutbox is installed.
